Seems she just doesn’t know how to lose. At least, that’s been Warrawee Koine’s career thus far, brief though it may be each of her three trips behind the starting gate have culminated in a visit to the winner’s circle.
And if the odds are anything to go by, the big, black filly from Warrawee Farm in Rockwood, Ontario is expected to deliver more of the same on Monday night in the $45,800 final of the Silver Reign Pacing Series at Woodbine.
The only potential stumbling block to Warrawee Koine’s series sweep is the outside post position she has drawn.
Reinsman Mike Saftic will have to hustle the Astreos lass smartly away from the gate to avoid getting stuck in traffic, but Warrawee Koine appears to be improving with each experience and should be up to this new challenge. She is deservedly rated at 4-5 in this field of 10 sophomore fillies.
